Guest Reviews "The serenity & the view! The balcony was well used - an excellent place to chill out, enjoy the amazing views, watch a sunset, cook a BBQ, & eat meals. We spent most daylight hours on the balcony, so relaxing!"
- Jessica - January 11 "The location is great, and there are so many beautiful beaches a short drive away. The Property was fantastic, clean and relaxing. Rod was extremely helpful when we arrived and very welcoming. We had the best time there and would highly recommend "Shelly Beach Lodge""
- Stacy - December 10 "Shelly Beach Lodge is located in a fantastic position. The views are breathtaking. Rod - the host at the lodge is very friendly and eager to assist as required. The lodge itself is quaintly designed - it has a unique character and is not cookie cutter typical chalet/hotel style. We felt like we were in a real 'holiday' place. We cooked on the BBQ and washed dishes by hand rather than by using a dishwasher. The holiday and the lodge spurred a feeling of simpler times where the pace of life was leisurely and not so hectic. "
- Matthew, NT - January 10 "To say we enjoyed our stay at Shelly Beach Lodge would be an understatement. View from balcony absolutely priceless and breathtaking! Pure Tranquility. Rod was very accomodating, and went far beyond his duties as a host - He generously shared his knowledge on the native flora/fauna, took us on a guided walk, and even took us off-road in his 4WD.
Will definately be back for more! Michael and Tina " ps: try "Rod's Bananna Pancakes"!!!! - Michael, SA - July 09 "The position was excellent - great views, peaceful & quiet with wildlife present. However, 6 of us stayed for a week. This is truely an ecolodge. There is no microwave or oven to speak of and hair dryers are out. It is run by solar power and rain water. The other thing to keep in mind is that the toilet is in the bathroom. Unfortunately we had a few issues with the eco situation and bathroom/toilet as there were so many of us. We were refunded a portion of our cost to compensate."
- Helena, SA - April 09 "We had a lovely stay in an idyllic location. Rod and Donna were gracious hosts. The house was clean and comfortable, with breathtaking views. "
- Maureen, SA - January 09 "excellent - very peaceful and owner very helpful."
- Bronwyn, SA - September 08 Dear Rod and Donna, Thank you very much for the marvellous stay you made possible at Shboo. You are wonderful hosts and your generosity will remain present in our minds. As you know, the views from the Lodge are unsurpassable and the peace is complete. We had the most wonderful time and very much hope to come back. So we will be in touch again. With warm regards,
